Well, we had a wonderful two day Summit which was held at Kendall College. Of course, Candy Wallace was there to give us a huge pep rally.
Judy from the Chicago Cultural Office was on
hand to talk to us about all the diversisty the
Chicago food scene has to offer.
And we were also fortunate to have Ina Pinkey from breakfastqueen.com speak to us. A really amazing woman.
Sessions lasted from 9am until 5pm with the students at Kendall cooking lunch for us on both days - Thank You! Information such as food trends from mintel.com were discussed. Various cooking methods and fat substitutions were offered. We even got wonder tips for doing cooking demos and videos from Tom O'Brien.
